Why you need to sweat it as a Kids Life Coach!

Recently we revamped our Level 1 Theory of Kids Life Coaching to be more comprehensive and robust! Our nickname for this training is our "Kids Life Coaching Jump Start" package!
Our aim at The Kids Life Studio is to educate, empower and equip professionals to coach children with a solid foundation of knowledge in place. So this is why we consider this Theory training to be so fundamental to the success of our Kids Life Studio Certified Coaches. It is not like many mainstream trainings that don't really require much effort. On the contrary, this training has a different starting point for each student and the aim is to fill the personal gaps through self paced research in the areas of:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Positive Psychology
Neuro-Linguistic Programming
Social Psychology
Emotional Intelligence
Life Coaching (specifically aimed at children)
Trust me...the 6 week process takes commitment, lots of reading and a willingness to be curious about learning. There is no spoon feeding and the "done for you" approach isn't our style! We believe that in order to really embrace and internalise your learning, you have to actual "sweat it" out!
So today when Tania Delsordo submitted her Portfolio of Evidence and feedback after successfully completing her Level 1 Theory training, I was delighted that she felt her "hard work" was worth it and had to share with you.
Tania says:
"The Level 1 training was really good. I learned a lot of good concepts, and got introduced to tools and ingredients that every kid should have in order to become leaders of their life so that they can make good choices easily. It is not an easy or light course, but if you put in the effort and time it's an amazing course that will give you the foundations for become a supporter and a guidance for children around you."
The good news is that Tania now goes on to start her Level 2 Kids Life Coach Certification which takes another 3 months and then on to her Level 3 Advanced Kids Life Coach Certification and journey to becoming a Kids Life Studio Brand Ambassador!
The thing is that when it comes to working with children, we really can't afford to be taking short cuts. I have been coaching children since 2003 and I have never stopped learning! In fact, I read on average one book a week...and I have read every book on the reading lists I provide for each of the Level , Level 2 and Level 3 Kids Life Coach Training recommended lists!
The hard work, effort and time pursuing your Kids Life Coach Certification really are worth it!! You certainly don't want to be a mediocre Kids Life Coach with mediocre training. I suppose it is my University lecturing background that has given me the insight into how to position materials to get the most benefit.
