Having a system is a game changer in Kids Life Coaching
In the past two decades since I started coaching children, the dynamic world of Kids Life Coaching, has grown exponentially. When I founded Kids Life Studio® I was always on the look out for innovative, effective strategies to help children grow and thrive. As a former school teacher, I knew that I couldn't coach children in a traditional way. I knew that worksheets, sitting behind desks and putting your hand up to talk wasn't conducive to supporting children effectively.
So I created a space where I could coach children with no stigma and labelling and no restrictive red tape. Fast track to today and Kids Life Studio® is the leader in setting up these spaces around the world. We train our certified Kids Life Coaches to use our Play Based Coaching System® to get sustainable results. This method I created, incorporates structured play into our coaching sessions and we have ample quantitative data to prove that our way is more effective than free play with no structure.
Which is what brought me to today's blog. I have spoken to so many people who have certified as Kids Life Coaches with other organisations. They feel frustrated and overwhelmed because after doing their training, they STILL don't feel equipped to create real meaningful and measurable changes in a child's life. When I quiz them, they tell me that they play in their sessions BUT Play Based Coaching isn't just about having fun.
Our certified Kids Life Studio® coaches use our proprietary 3 tiered strategic method that uses play as a tool for learning and embedding complex neuroscience to rewire a child's brain. Unlike other coaches who don't understand the science behind play, we don't believe that children should be left to their own devices.
