How will you show up as a Kids Life Coach?

It always surprises me as to how many people schedule and commit to appointments with us to speak about our Kids Life Coach certification yet they don't bother to show up.
I find that disheartening...to think that people like that are going to possibly be working with children and trying to coach them.
How we start is how we finish and if you book an appointment and you state in writing you are committing to attending...they you show up OR you need to show common decency and let the person know you can't make it.
We have had many people who haven't been able to make it at the last minute due to emergencies but they still let us know. That is the right thing to do. It shows integrity and respect and regard for mutually shared time. Some people also change their mind or find other options...but they let us know and we admire and respect that.
It pains me to think some of these people who don't show up without any apology or excuse will be coaching children when they themselves struggle with their own basic values...My bet is they won't last long...if they don't show up for their clients...
Sorry for the rant...but I just don't understand rudeness in a world where we choose as Kids Life Coaches to support children to be kind...resilient...respectful...strong...courageous....committed...
If you make an appointment.
Show up.
If you commit and can no longer make it. Let the person know.

Thanks for those of you who have chosen to show up and spoken to myself or one of our team members. Thanks to those of you who haven't made it or changed your mind but let us know. I value transparency and professionalism beyond all else. I appreciate you and wish you a long and successful journey as a world-class Kids Life Coach. Whether it is with our organisation or another organisation or on your own....remember to walk the walk and talk the talk because children are watching and need good role models! So just show up authentically....
