Why Kids Life Coaching is a viable solution

I believe that one of my super powers as the founder of The Kids Life Studio is that I always swim in my own lane! So often I see professionals cross boundaries and step outside of their professional remit.

I love working alongside medical professionals who understand the value of collaboration and a multi-disciplinary approach.

I do what I do best.....equip and empower children with a tangible life skills toolkit and therapists do what they do best....support and enable children to move through trauma and mental health challenges.

It’s a win-win when professional collaboration happens!

However.  Not ALL medical professionals are open to working alongside a Kids Life Coach.

In my opinion this could be because of one of 3 things:

1. They are ignorant and uninformed.

2. They are insecure and fear being undermined.

3. They are fuelled by ego and don’t respect anybody they don’t consider their “equal”.

I am working towards making Kids Life Coaching an accepted, respected and validated mainstream intervention.

I consider Kids Life Coaching the “incubator” and safe holding space when a child is waiting for therapy or can’t readily obtain help. Our global team are filling a much needed gap and we are a viable solution to long therapy waiting lists.

So why do I consider Kids Life Coaching a viable solution....

Well.

Look at long waiting lists for mental health services. Kids Life Coaching fills that gap.

Look at the stigma associated to therapy. Kid Life Coaching doesn't judge or leave children feeling vulnerable and labelled.

Look at anxiety, stress and depression in children. Kids Life Coaching offers a tangible toolkit for coping. 

Look at the global state of our world. Kids Life Coaching supports children to make better choices. 

There is no question that if you are a Kids Life Coach or you choose to change your career and become a Kids Life Coach. Children need you. There is no time to waste being mediocre and trying to figure things out. They need you to have solutions that equip and empower and enable them to become the leaders of their own lives.
